The City of Artesia’s climate action goals aim to reduce the City’s carbon footprint to zero, use carbon neutral energy sources of solar and wind, improve energy efficiency in all agency operations, and reduce Greenhouse Gas emissions from city operations. The City of Artesia is proud of it’s accomplishments up to date, which include planting over 115 new trees, implementing an office recycling program, and replacing field lights with LED fixtures.
