The City of Coronado is committed to climate action activities.  It has installed 14 EV charging stations throughout the city, builds new construction to LEED certification status, transitioned city leaf blowers and string trimmers to zero-emission electric tools, and specializes in peak travel and commuter trip reduction measures.  In addition, Coronado has a Safe Routes to School program and a Street Tree Master Plan.
